WONDERFUL : Skilled and funniest debate
SMANSA- The biggest event in this year for SMAN 1 Curup is Expresi Smansa, that held in early Oktober 2011. This provincial level competition is a lot of competitions are held, one of them is debate competition. The debate competition starts on Friday 14th until Sunday 16th in SMANSA area. The debate competition followed by 16 teams from 8 schools around the Bengkulu province. In this final debate competition both of SMAN 2 Bengkulu A and B teams entered the final round.
The match between SMAN 2 Bengkulu A and SMAN 2 Bengkulu B happen on Sunday Morning 16th Oktober 2011 in SMANSA Stage. The motion of the final round is This House Believe That social networking technologies are not social at all. As the affairmative team is SMAN 2 Bengkulu A and as the negative team is SMAN 2 Bengkulu B. The debate very excited because the motion familiar to the our life and also contradic for the each team. Also, from the team a and team b debated the motion with the reciprocated replies opinion and also logic argument, that made this debate competition more alive.

Although this is a final round, each team debated the motion more enjoyable and they have fun because they school absolute be the winner. They some times smile and laughed as long as the match seems they very enjoy the debate. But about their argument, they did not played around. They made a good argument, simply simulation, persuated and that make their team power to affect the addujicator. The coordinator of debate competition and also SMAN 1 Curup debater, Wahyu Trisvianto said that the frist point that should be have for the debater , ofcourse how they can persuate the addjudicator about what in their mind and then how they built their team case into good one so the addjudicator can simply ,easily can understanding about what they are gonna do as the goverment or as the oppotition and then about their basic skill such as from the speaking ability and then for the knowlegde ability and the others so that points can support the debaters. From that indicator we know that this final round really a match of skilled debaters.
The first speaker of affairmative team,M. Ismail the give definition of motion clearly and bulit the case of motion successfuly such as appeared the fake account on social networking. And the first speaker of negative team, Afif F. Pratama give their opponent some rebuttals such as the affairmative team said that the people in social network are mostly abusing, Afif said that it doesn’t matter if they abusing or not because it will not change the filosophy about socialitation. This final round debate countinued burn up with such logic and beautiful argument. In the replay time of affairmative team, some words that debater said made all of the people in that time laughing. He is brief their argument about although do the comuticate with the waiters in restaurant is also socialitation, the funny part is he said that although we talk to Mamang meatball or Mamang bakso to question how the price the meatball is, that also the comunicate in socialitation.

The match very excited but there is a team have to be the winner. Then the addjudicator informed the winner, the winner is SMAN 2 Bengkulu A. They looked very happy because they can be the winner of debate competition.
“Well, ofcourse it is kind of nice debate .. because from Bengkulu city itself we have a little competition ,So, We will have more competition for us in Bengkulu so that we can make a good experience in debate competition”, said one of debater, Afif F. Pratama. He also said if we want to be a good debater is not about your english but is about how can you think and how can you think faster so, if you have bad english you just can try it because try and practice make perfect.
